Job summary

SRC, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support corporate supply chain activities and supplier performance that drive operational efficiency.

You will support corporate manufacturing and development operations, onboarding suppliers, and managing supplier data while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This hybrid role reports to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Management.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and 2+ years of experience. Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and education will be considered.
• Working knowledge of basic purchasing procedures.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Queries knowledge; good written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint a plus
• Basic knowledge of Supply Chain activities including sourcing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task
• Able to successfully communicate in person and on the phone with suppliers and internal customer

Responsibilities

• Ability to process new suppliers via standard onboarding procedures
• Ability to accurately record information from one database into another
• Ability to follow up and stay organized with tasks
