Job summary

HAVI is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst in the Chicago area to drive continuous improvement across planning systems and analytics. You will partner with planners, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate pain points into scalable solutions using Kinaxis Maestro and Power BI, with SQL and Python for large data sets.

The role emphasizes capability over tenure, focusing on analytical rigor, technical fluency, and delivering durable fixes rather than workarounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Supply Chain, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or Analytics.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP, Six Sigma, or Kinaxis certification is a plus, not required.
• Hands-on experience turning data analysis into scalable process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own a prioritized improvement backlog for supply chain planning, quantify impact, build the business case, and drive changes to production.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes rather than recurring workarounds.
• Document current-state processes and design future-state workflows for standardized practices.
• Build impact simulations to quantify effects of logic or process changes before deployment.
• Automate planning tasks to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Configure and enhance Kinaxis Maestro resources (workbooks, dashboards, alerts) to support planning.
• Translate requirements into Maestro designs and validate results through SIT/UAT.
• Support inventory policy, safety stock, and replenishment logic with scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with technology teams for data integration and data flow issue resolution.
