Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Advisor to ensure accurate net requirements flow to manufacturing sites and external partners, enabling production to meet the right product mix and quantities while supporting material procurement for Service & Repair activities.

This role collaborates with global sourcing, demand planning, commercial, logistics, and operations to achieve service metrics and optimize inventory across the network.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in supply chain planning preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
• SAP or Kinaxis experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans based on trends and input.
• Monitor finished goods and spare parts availability to meet service requirements.
• Analyze service level and backorder performance and identify root causes.
• Recommend and implement supply planning and inventory management improvements.
• Drive reduction of excess and obsolete inventory and Last Time Buy planning.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate supply and service risks with stakeholders.
• Lead strategic supply planning initiatives and system integrations.
• Host regular meetings with plants and external manufacturers to address supply challenges.
• Conduct monthly S&OP reviews to align supply with business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
