Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Advisor to ensure accurate net requirements flow to manufacturing and external partners, enabling correct product mix and quantities while supporting procurement for service and repair.

The role involves capacity assessments, safety stock management, and continuous improvement within Kinaxis, SAP, and other planning tools, with a focus on meeting service metrics across the network.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in supply chain planning or similar
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification preferred
• SAP or Kinaxis experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans based on RMA trends, commercial strategy, and other inputs
• Monitor finished goods and spare parts availability to meet service requirements
• Analyze service level and backorder performance and implement corrective actions
• Recommend and implement supply planning and inventory management improvements
• Drive reduction of excess and obsolete inventory; lead Last Time Buy for Service & Repair
• Identify and mitigate supply and service risks with stakeholders
• Lead strategic supply planning initiatives and system integrations
• Host regular cross-functional meetings to address supply challenges and meet service levels
• Conduct monthly S&OP-related supply reviews to align plans with business requirements
• Collaborate with manufacturing, demand planning, marketing, operations, sourcing and others to support objectives
