Smith+ Nephew is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on ensuring supplier quality and regulatory compliance across medical device operations, partnering with cross-functional teams and suppliers worldwide to drive quality excellence and continuous improvement.

This position requires a Bachelor's in engineering with 3+ years in supplier quality or a related field, knowledge of ISO 13485, and experience with CAPAs, nonconformances, and quality systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Approximately 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality or related field in medical device/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485; ISO 19011 knowledge preferred.
• Experience with nonconformances, CAPAs, supplier quality investigations, and quality system processes.
• Familiarity with calibration processes, CMM equipment, gauging systems, and quality measurement techniques.
• Proficiency with SAP, Windchill, Power BI, Minitab, Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Visio.
• Strong communication, project management and ability to work across global teams.
• Experience with Lean A3, Six Sigma and 8D problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Support the global supplier quality strategy and goals.
• Manage supplier nonconformances via SAP QNs and SmartSolve.
• Apply calibration, CMM and gauging knowledge to supplier quality activities.
• Lead CAPAs, supplier investigations, field actions and complaints.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations and suppliers.
• Maintain quality system compliance and regulatory requirements.
