Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) offers a 12-week summer internship designed to give you hands-on experience in the utility/energy sector. You will be paired with a mentor, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present your internship project at the Intern Expo.

This hybrid role requires California residency and a May/June 2027 start with an August/September 2027 end date. Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Data Analytics, Data Science or Applied Math with a 2.8+ GPA and

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in either Data Analytics, Data Science or Applied Math discipline at an accredited institution with a graduation date of December 2027 or later
• 2.8 GPA or higher

Responsibilities

• Work with real world challenges within the utility/energy sector
• Pair with a mentor and collaborate to apply knowledge, grow skills and make an impact
• Build professional network through intern events
• Work with cross functional teams on projects
• Present in annual Intern Expo to showcase internship project
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools
• Demonstrate effective and open communication

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Data Analytics/Data Science/Applied Math

GPA 2.8 or higher
