Job summary

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Structural Field Engineer who will own actions to resolve planning and construction issues for the SHINE Medical Isotope Facility and related outbuildings. You’ll collaborate with SHINE Engineering, external Engineers of Record, and Contractors, ensuring field designs are implemented correctly and safely.

The role requires leading a field team, performing design reviews, and maintaining configuration control, while travel for on-site engagements may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil/Structural) with 5+ years in construction or project management at an active capital project.
• 7 years’ experience as a field engineer in one of the focused disciplines; PM/field exp may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Utilize construction and engineering experience to resolve design installation issues, reviewing drawings, codes, submittals and the 3D model.
• Conduct constructability reviews of engineering designs and provide input on cost-effective, buildable support designs.
• Perform reviews of contractor shop drawings and submittals.
• Lead the field engineering team to construct a first-of-a-kind medical isotope facility.
• Provide field oversight to ensure the facility is built per design and that MEP and process equipment align with drawings.
• Draft Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) with accurate markup using Bluebeam.
• Identify and resolve non-conformances via NCR process and drive them to closure.
