We are seeking passionate and dedicated Permanent Structural Engineers for multiple roles and locations. Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems.
- Conducting feasibility studies, writing reports, creating blueprints, and designing structural systems.
- Working closely with architects and other professionals to ensure that projects are safely and efficiently executed.
- Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs and performing complex calculations.
- Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors.
- Resolving design and development problems and ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering is a must, with a master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) is required, and Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in land development and site development.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and building codes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using engineering software.
- A commitment to continuing professional development.
