Actalent is seeking a Structural Designer to develop detailed 3D structural models and precise 2D drawings for complex industrial and government projects. You will collaborate with structural engineers and other disciplines to transform concepts into constructible designs using Revit and AutoCAD, with exposure to Navisworks Manage and ReCap for retrofit work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of structural design and drafting experience in industrial or complex facility projects.
• Strong proficiency with Revit for 3D structural models.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD for detailed 2D drawings.
• Experience producing structural design and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of structural steel, concrete, foundations, and supports.
• Ability to interpret calculations and specifications for design work.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain 3D structural models in Revit and 2D drawings in AutoCAD.
• Prepare structural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Detail structural steel, concrete elements, foundations, and platforms.
• Translate calculations and sketches into coordinated drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, civil, and other disciplines.
• Participate in model coordination using Navisworks Manage to resolve clashes.
• Use ReCap and point-cloud data for retrofit and existing facilities.
• Support site visits and field surveys to verify conditions.
