Job summary

Vivint, an NRG-owned leader in smart home solutions, seeks a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager in Seattle, WA.

You will spearhead supplier strategy, manage key vendor relationships, and collaborate with hardware, engineering, and operations to ensure on-time, quality parts for new product introductions. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in supplier management, strong cost modeling skills, and a track record of cross-functional leadership in consumer electronics or similar industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years in high-volume manufacturing or sourcing.
• 7+ years direct supplier/supply chain management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in consumer electronics or similar.
• Familiarity with world-class sourcing methods and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills including cost modeling and supplier evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Define and own supplier sourcing strategies and criteria.
• Lead RFQ processes and final supplier selections with cross-functional partners.
• Negotiate terms to achieve best pricing, quality, delivery, and warranties.
• Manage ramp plans, production schedules, and supplier relationships.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks from lead times and single sources.
• Influence supplier technology roadmaps to meet architecture and business requirements.
