Job summary

PCI Productions LLC is seeking a temporary Communication Strategist to plan, develop, and execute integrated communication strategies for NASA’s RTMD, aligning with mission priorities and organizational messaging.

The role supports Langley and HQ customers in a hybrid setting, contributing to strategic communications, event materials, and digital communications across agency platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, writing, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• Proficient writer with strong command of AP style; writing samples required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience managing a high volume of products with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Gain fluency on RTMD’s vision and mission and understand stakeholder needs within the organization.
• Contribute to strategic communications planning.
• Develop mission overview materials and briefing materials for RTMD events.
• Provide event planning support: logistics, executive coordination, run-of-show, presentation materials, remarks, talking points, and communications.
• Develop key messages and talking points for speaking engagements with RTMD leadership.
• Draft and coordinate reviews of press releases, web articles, executive remarks, program updates, and media statements.
• Support integration of program content into NASA’s digital platforms and social media presence.
• Maintain and update web content as needed.
• Participate in meetings with RTMD leadership and collaborate across agency communications teams.
• Support integrated communications initiatives with program teams, aligned to NASA brand standards and policies.
