Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is seeking a Contract Store Designer to support delivery of retail store design packages across multiple brands. You will adapt brand standards to site conditions and produce complete documentation for permitting, procurement, and construction.

You will work with Design Leadership and other teams to ensure on‑time delivery, drawing accuracy, and adherence to standards, while not originating concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in retail store design and documentation.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam; working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Solid understanding of Retail construction practices and materials, millwork, lighting and MEP coordination, ADA and building code fundamentals.
• Full construction document sets and ability to produce accurate, complete drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build complete store design drawing packages based on approved brand concepts and standards.
• Apply brand standards while adapting layouts to site conditions and landlord criteria.
• Generate clear, accurate drawing packages for construction document development.
• Review kickoff docs like Tenant Design Criteria and site surveys.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve design constraints efficiently.
• Prepare design decks, samples, and visuals for reviews when needed.
• Identify risks and communicate them to relevant parties.
