Job summary

Upic Solutions, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Staff Accountant to deliver accurate monthly financial results and budgets. You will support internal and client financial processes, assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.

Responsibilities include reviewing AP/AR, payroll processing, cost allocations, audits, and process improvements. A Bachelor’s in finance or accounting with 2+ years of experience and strong Excel/QuickBooks skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proficient with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.
• Experience with QuickBooks or other fund accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with payroll processing and reporting and maintain up to date payroll information.
• Maintain and record cost allocations.
• Prepare reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
• Assist with month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation, and preparation of journal entries.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Assist in external and internal audit processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.
• Desire to understand and improve financial reporting process.
• Work on special assignments or other duties as assigned.
