Addison Group is recruiting a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team in St. Paul, MN. This role supports a fast-paced environment, balances multiple entities, and contributes to month-end close with strong attention to detail.

You will prepare journal entries, reconcile ledgers, and assist in financial reporting across locations, with Excel proficiency and solid analytical/problem-solving skills. Hybrid after training, local MN/western WI candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Experience preparing financial statements and reconciling multiple entities is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and review financial reports for multiple business units and locations.
• Assist with cost reporting and audit-related reporting requirements.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and adjusting entries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy.
