Harvard Resource Solutions LLC in Southfield, MI is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Accounting team in month-end close activities and general accounting tasks under the Controller. This full-time hybrid role works in office 3 days per week with a salary of $75,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on education and experience.

Responsibilities include posting and reconciling journal entries, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role.
• Experience posting, posting and reconciling journal entries.
• Experience supporting banking, billing, and payroll operations.
• Experience with monthly reporting packages.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Month end close process by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Record and reconcile bank transactions and GL variances.
• Generate monthly invoices from large data sets using Excel/Power Query.
