Job summary

PACS is seeking an experienced Accountant for a hybrid role based in Salt Lake City. You will manage GL, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close processes while collaborating with AP/AR, payroll, and operations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least 3 years of related experience, plus strong analytical and communication skills. In-office presence is required three days weekly at PACS Downtown Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years in related experience or equivalency preferred.
• Pre-employment background screening and proof of legal work eligibility required.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, cost analysis and accounting principles; solid analytical and communication skills.
• Hybrid role with 3 days in PACS Downtown Salt Lake City office.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with accounts payable, accounts receivable, operations, payroll, and other supporting departments.
• Maintain general ledger accounting records and prepare journal entries.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations and fixed asset schedules.
• Perform month-over-month income statement variance analyses and report results to leadership.
• Ensure timely delivery of financials to leadership each month.
• Maintain accruals schedule; identify missing invoices and perform monthly cut-off accruals for utilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
