Job summary

CFS, a growing financial services organization, seeks a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its accounting team in Dartmouth, MA. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-4+ years of accounting experience.
• Financial services, banking, mortgage, or lending industry experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and accounting software experience.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
