Piper Companies seeks a Splunk Engineer / SOC Engineer to support enterprise security monitoring and analytics. This hybrid role is 2 days onsite and requires a Secret clearance. You will work with SOC analysts, cloud teams, and engineering stakeholders to enhance detection and visibility.

Responsibilities include developing detections and dashboards, onboarding data sources, and troubleshooting Splunk pipelines. Strong SPL and CIM knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SIEM engineering, security operations, or incident response environments.
• Proficient with Splunk, writing complex SPL queries and dashboards.
• Experience onboarding security data sources into a centralized SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Developing and optimizing Splunk detections, dashboards, and correlation searches.
• Onboarding and normalizing diverse security data sources into Splunk.
• Troubleshooting ingestion pipelines and indexing issues.
