Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Account Manager to provide strategic planning and account management for large payor accounts, coordinating payor contracts and implementation across health plans and PBMs.

The role combines on-site and off-site customer service, with hybrid work requiring 1–2 in-office days per week. Strong experience in payor contracting and client relationship management is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and at least 3 years of experience in business operations and/or customer relationship management.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic planning and account management for larger payor accounts.
• Direct and manage the administration of payor contractual requirements and obligations.
• Assist with onboarding and renewal implementation for accounts.
• Interface with operations to ensure smooth delivery of services.
• Maintain ongoing payor account relationships across health plans and PBM organizations.
• Make recommendations for improvements to meet expectations.
• Provide on-site and off-site customer service, including plan design interpretation, inquiries, claims, and enrollment issues.
• Prepare and submit health plan and PBM reports and metrics.
• Program management of payors and payor contracts.
