Job summary

Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) seeks a Special Programs Manager I - Commercial Products to advance IEHP’s commercial product initiatives under the Director of Product Implementation – Medicare & Commercial. This role oversees development, implementation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of Individual products in the Covered California marketplace.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Finance, Actuarial, Sales, Enrollment, Operations, Claims, Provider Network, Marketing, and Covered

Qualifications

• 3+ years in health plan product management, health insurance operations, regulatory affairs, or related healthcare field.
• Experience with Covered California, ACA products, or Individual Marketplace is preferred.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional healthcare projects is preferred.
• Experience with benefit design, enrollment operations, or healthcare analytics is preferred.
• PM certification or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual Covered California product development and renewal cycle.
• Coordinate benefit design updates, plan changes, and product enhancements.
• Maintain product inventories, benefit grids, and product documentation.
• Assist with evaluating market trends, competitor products, and regulatory requirements.
• Support implementation of new product offerings and product modifications.
• Monitor Covered California guidance, regulations, and policy updates.
• Coordinate review and implementation of regulatory requirements and product filings.
• Assist with SBC, SOB, EOC documents and promotional material alignment.
• Serve as a liaison between Product, Compliance, Operations, Enrollment, Finance, Actuarial, and Marketing.
• Support enterprise readiness activities for renewals and special enrollment periods.
• Coordinate implementation timelines and project deliverables.
• Analyze membership, enrollment, retention, and product performance data.
