Job summary

San Diego Workforce Innovation High School in Murrieta is seeking a Paraprofessional to support online students in a hybrid role. You will assist educators, provide tutoring and accommodations, and help with data entry and program activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, and completion of at least two years of College (48 units) or Associate degree from an accredited state college.
Experience working with students and with low income and at-risk populations.
Experience in education of individuals with exceptional needs or deaf/hard of hearing.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Assist educators in instructional duties and provide tutoring support.
Provide accommodations and online assessments.
Assist in data entry for students enrolling in the program.
Assist with program implementation and activities (field trips, guest speakers).
Communicate with parents or adult students and retrieve required forms.
Translate communications between students and teachers.
