Job summary

West Virginia Junior College seeks an experienced Sonography Clinical Coordinator to help develop and launch a new Sonography/Ultrasound Program. The role supports a flexible hybrid-online delivery model designed to expand access to skilled sonographers across West Virginia.

The coordinator will work with the director on program development, maintain accreditation compliance, and build clinical partnerships with local healthcare providers to ensure quality student experiences.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in one or more concentrations (Abdominal, OB/GYN).
• Baccalaureate degree or higher.
• Three years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer.
• Teaching experience in an accredited sonography program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development, implementation, and evaluation of the Sonography program.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and best practices.
• Assist with curriculum development, faculty and clinical partnerships.
• Support student success through academic and clinical excellence.
• Coordinate with internal teams and healthcare partners.
• Serve as clinical liaison for sites providing clinical learning opportunities.
• Schedule faculty and students for clinical experiences per site agreements.
