Job summary

Arab-American Family Support Center (AAFSC) is seeking a Solution-Based Casework (SBC) Case Planner to provide intensive preventive case planning and services for at-risk families referred by ACS. The role requires strong collaboration with families, case management, and adherence to SBC models to improve safety and stability.

The position is full-time and hybrid, with 2-3 days in the Bronx office. A Bachelor’s degree, bilingual capabilities, and experience with PROMIS/Connections are highly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Familiarity with PROMIS and Connections.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office and excellent writing skills are required.
• Bilingual or multi-lingual fluency required. Arabic, Bangla/Bengali, Hindi, Spanish or Urdu skills strongly preferred.
• Experience working with under-served students in urban schools, child welfare system, and/or community-based settings a plus.
• U.S. Work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Perform case management and advocacy to ensure child safety and family stability.
• Complete initial intake documents and maintain case files in ACS/OCFS-compliant systems.
• Coordinate and support Family Team Conferences and ACS-led meetings.
• Attend trainings and audits; ensure timely documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with ACS and community partners to link families to needed services.
