Cambia Health is seeking a Software Quality Engineer I - II (Facets Application Services) for a hybrid role with several office locations including Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo, Portland, Vancouver, Renton, Medford, Burlington, Lewiston, Little Rock and Springdale. Join a collaborative team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a BA/BS in CS or related field and proficiency in Java, Ruby, Python, or C#.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in computer science or related field.
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Ruby, Python or C#).
• Strong foundation in software quality assurance and testing.

Responsabilités

• Participate on project scrum team and defect triage team while managing personal work backlog using agile practices.
• Review user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, software designs, code and tests to ensure quality standards.
• Develop, automate and execute unit, component and system-level tests using industry-standard methods; write automated and manual test cases.
• Report test results, submit defects, verify fixes, and assess impact of requirements/design/code changes to recommend test updates and regression testing.
• Ensure software testability, test coverage and maintainability meet project requirements; mentor team members on achieving required coverage and improving automated test stability.
• Collaborate with Development to define requirements, design and implementation ensuring testability, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Develop technical solutions to meet project quality, cost and schedule requirements while mitigating risks and ensuring executable quality and test plans.
• Use metrics to drive process effectiveness, monitor testing progress and product quality, and lead assigned process improvement efforts.
• Collaborate on integration and system-level tests; elevate issues to Software Quality Lead as needed.
