Job summary

Principal Global Investors in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Software Engineer III or Sr. Software Engineer I to join the Workplace Benefits Fulfillment Customer Experience / Claims Intake team.

You will help modernize claims operations and customer experiences through next-generation platforms and large-scale transformations. You'll design, develop, and support cloud-native applications on AWS, using CDK/CloudFormation, React/Next.js, and serverless architectures.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent in CS/MIS/Engineering
• Experience AWS cloud-native apps
• Experience CDK and/or CloudFormation
• Proficient in TS, Java, SQL
• Experience React and Next.js
• Experience serverless & event-driven architectures
• Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience TDD & quality-first engineering
• Experience pair programming
