Job summary

You will model data, build transformations with Snowflake SQL and dbt, implement Tasks and procedures, and ensure security and governance while aligning with architectural standards. The role emphasizes collaboration with Data Engineers, BI teams, and Platform Administrators to optimize performance and cost

Qualifications

• 5+ years of advanced Snowflake SQL development and data modeling.
• 3+ years Snowflake administration, RBAC, and cost governance.
• 4+ years dbt experience with testing and CI/CD.
• 5+ years Git-based version control and release management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data warehousing.
• Financial services experience: Preferred.
• Business Objects (SAP BO/Web Intelligence): Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Snowflake models, conformed dimensions, fact tables, and semantic views.
• Create and maintain dbt models and tests for data pipelines and Snowflake deployments.
• Implement Snowflake Tasks, Streams, stored procedures, and scheduled workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Reporting teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure security, RBAC, masking policies, and governance in Snowflake deployments.
• Support deployments with Git, CI/CD processes, and environment validation.
