Vertex Education is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver therapy and support services across elementary settings. You will implement curriculum-based activities, track progress, and collaborate with educators on accommodations and strategies.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and state licenses (AZ/NV/TX/SC) with a preference for ASHA CCC-SLP. The role follows a four-day on-campus, one-day remote hybrid schedule and requires background clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• AZ: ADHS license and ADE PreK–12 SLP Certification.
• NV: NDE Endorsement for Speech and Language Impairments.
• TX: TDLR State License.
• SC: SCDE SLP Educator Certificate and SC Department of LLR SLP License.
• Criminal history background check required.
• Preferred: ASHA CCC-SLP.

Responsibilities

• Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and support them to achieve academic goals.
• Facilitate individual and/or group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
• Supervise support staff and consult with educators on accommodations and instructional strategies.
• Provide augmentative and alternative communication systems for students with severe disorders.
• Create a learning environment that engages students and supports their best performance.
• Utilize direct instruction to promote social, physical and intellectual growth for primary school students.
• Assess individual needs and develop personalized approaches to different learning styles.
• Master curriculum implementation and guide learning toward curriculum goals.
• Encourage values and model professional behavior in school and on campus.
