Job summary

Blackbird Health, Frederick, Maryland, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Contract Evaluator for hybrid work with on-site days in Philadelphia metro locations and remote telehealth flexibility. You will perform diagnostic evaluations to map a child’s development and communication needs, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team while not providing ongoing therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Valid Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• At least two years of experience providing SLP services, preferably in telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Complete a set minimum of four 90-minute evaluations per week.
• Identify candidates for short-term intensive SLP programs and provide 30-minute treatment sessions.
• Attend team meetings (about 1 hour weekly).
• Maintain a clinical schedule with morning/evening times; focus after 3 pm EST or weekend evaluations.
