Intel's Integrated Photonics Solutions (IPS) is driving the future of high-performance computing and networking with silicon photonics. This Experienced Hire role leads development from concept to high-volume manufacturing, coordinating across design, fab, assembly, test, quality, and operations to meet performance, cost, quality, and schedule objectives.

You will drive manufacturing readiness and risk management, interfacing with stakeholders to communicate product status and recommendations,

Qualifications

• BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience or MS with 4+ years of experience.
• 3+ years in high-speed optical component development, silicon photonics development, semiconductor fabrication, wafer-level assembly/packaging, or test development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead matrixed design, fab, assembly, test, quality, and operations teams to define and execute the POR.
• Drive end-to-end development of Photonic ICs, Electronic ICs, and manufacturing process technologies through production ramp.
• Balance technical tradeoffs with cost, schedule and risk to enable informed decisions.
• Identify and mitigate risks through contingency planning and cross-functional alignment.
• Drive manufacturing readiness, including wafer-start planning, qualification strategy, and site certification.
