Job summary

Zebra is seeking a Server/Storage Engineer to design and deploy scalable infrastructure that aligns with IT standards and security requirements. You will work on bridging business strategy with technical execution across global IT ecosystems, emphasizing cloud enablement and zero-trust security.

You will collaborate with solution architects, manage SIP processes, and drive EOL projects while applying AI-driven automation to streamline operations and improve reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
2+ years of related experience in server/storage engineering.
Experience with Linux and Windows server infrastructure.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and serverless containers (GKE/Cloud Run/EKS/AKS).
Solid foundation in enterprise security architecture.
Experience using AI for workflow automation.

Responsibilities

Solution Engineering Architect collaboration: align server/storage designs with security and capacity needs.
Manage preliminary server intake requests and SIP execution.
Generate quarterly SLO reports for SIP and EOL activities; track targets.
Lead SIP meetings in absence of SIP manager.
Leverage AI and automation to reduce manual SIP/EOL work and document processes.
Coordinate decommissioning of aging IT systems (EOL) with business units.
