Job summary

Corning Incorporated in the United States is seeking a Senior Technology Project Leader to drive technology and product development projects from concept to manufacturing readiness. You will partner with Technology, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product teams to deliver projects on time, within budget and scope.

The role leads cross-functional teams, manages risks, and balances technical requirements with business needs, while aligning with scalable, cost-effective manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, technology development, and/or technical project leadership roles.
• Project Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead execution of assigned technology projects to achieve scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and key milestones.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
• Manage project scope and change control in alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain functions.
• Facilitate team collaboration, decision-making, and issue resolution while addressing resource needs and gaps.
• Build understanding of product and process designs to identify risks and ensure alignment with customer needs.
• Evaluate tradeoffs with technical teams to align execution with scalable manufacturing solutions.
• Communicate status, risks, decisions, and escalations clearly to stakeholders and partners.
• Maintain project documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
