Job summary

You will oversee annual testing plans, lead complex engagements, and provide management reporting on testing results, control maturity, and emerging risks, with a focus on regulatory alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of Technology and/or Cybersecurity risk principles
• Experience with NIST or Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST 800-53/800-53a)
• Understanding of security controls and risk-based testing approaches
• Ability to lead complex testing engagements and provide oversight

Responsibilities

• Maintain testing methodologies, standards, and QA practices
• Lead Annual Controls Testing Plan using risk-based principles
• Direct assessments of control design and operating effectiveness
• Provide challenge to risk owners on risk-to-control mappings and testing scope
• Lead complex controls testing engagements involving high-risk tech and cybersecurity processes
• Evaluate remediation activities for root cause and effectiveness
• Contribute to training on technology and cybersecurity risk management
• Coordinate regulatory engagement responses and exam management
• Prepare and deliver management reporting on testing results and risk trends
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards and escalate issues as needed
• Promote diversity and maintain internal control standards
• Complete other related duties as assigned
