Crowe is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join its Lead Tax Services team. You will oversee multiple client service teams, guide complex tax engagements, and mentor staff while partnering with the partner group.

This role offers a hybrid work model near Crowe offices, with potential remote arrangements. A CPA and 8+ years of tax experience are required to deliver innovative tax solutions and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license required.
• Master’s in Taxation or LLM strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive tax experience.
• Proven engagement and client-management skills.
• Strong federal and state tax knowledge; Subchapter C and provision experience.
• Excellent writing, communication, and tax research skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple client service teams, managing projects, including billing and accounts receivable.
• Review federal and state income tax returns for corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service.
• Provide forward-thinking tax planning strategies, compliance expertise, and tax research.
• Prepare and review detailed technical tax memoranda.
• Identify and manage risks to ensure compliance and protect client and firm interests.
• Mentor and develop staff and managers, providing feedback and evaluations.
• Serve as a resource and thought partner to the leadership team.
