Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Indianapolis is seeking a Lead Substation Engineer to manage modifications and upgrades of HV and EHV substations. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in substation design and hold a PE license. This position requires strong technical capabilities, effective communication, and leadership skills. A hybrid work arrangement is offered, with three days in the office and two remote. Qualifications

• 12 or more years of experience designing substations at 138kV and above.
• Experience with vendor protective relay equipment including SEL, ABB, GE, etc.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee substation modifications and upgrades based on client requirements.
• Guide junior engineers and designers in design efforts.
• Analyze and design schematic diagrams for substations.
