Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited US curriculum.
• 8 years of cumulative electrical engineering experience.
• Current California PE license is preferred.
• Experience with large substation projects and project management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage large complex projects and perform engineering analyses, studies, and develop conceptual designs.
• Lead, coach, direct, and assist technical employees and teams on technical issues.
• Assist in finalizing contract project specifications and technical evaluation of bids.
• Provide support to other departments in land, permitting, and legal issues.
• Independently plans work to meet general objectives under general direction.
• External contacts are with contractors, vendors and local public agencies; internal contacts are with clients and project teams.

Education

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited)

Current California PE license
