Target is seeking a Senior Designer on the Architecture & Guest Experience (AGx) team. You will translate brand and guest experience into architecturally sound, buildable solutions for stores, remodels, prototypes, and innovations.

You will work with cross-functional teams, balance design with cost and constructability, and drive projects from feasibility through construction with autonomy and strong collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant architecture or retail design experience.
• Ability to translate design concepts into site-specific architectural solutions.
• Strong design judgment and clear point of view for brand translation.
• Experience producing construction documentation with consultants.
• Understanding of building systems, materials, detailing, and constructability.
• Familiarity with codes, zoning, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Comfort engaging with municipalities, developers, and partners.
• Ability to balance creative design with scalable solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Aufgaben

• Translate brand and design principles into site-specific architectural solutions with a strong POV.
• Develop elevations, site adaptations, and submittal packages for local requirements.
• Advocate for design intent in meetings with municipalities, developers, and internal partners.
• Advance design from Feasibility to Construction with alignment to design intent and technical needs.
• Review construction documentation to maintain quality and constructability.
• Support projects through construction, resolving field questions.
• Balance design ambition with cost, schedule, and operations.
• Contribute to scalable systems and prototypes and their evolution.
• Collaborate across Architecture, Construction, Engineering, Store Planning, Real Estate, and Brand/Marketing.
