Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage program accounting, prepare journal entries, and support audits and budgeting across assigned programs. The role requires accuracy, strong communication, and adherence to internal controls.

Hybrid work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of three years of relevant experience are required, with strong MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance.
• Three (3) years relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and posts journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reviews statements for internal controls, standards, and budget variances; posts adjustments.
• Assists with annual budgets and projections for assigned programs.
