The role emphasizes architecture best practices, end-to-end system design, and collaboration with product management and engineering to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. You will drive technology roadmaps, evaluate new tools, mentor engineers, and guide teams through SAFe/Agile processes while maintaining documentation and security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years software engineering experience, 5+ years in enterprise architecture.
• Retail/Supply chain industry experience preferred.
• Experience end-to-end with SaaS/PaaS integrations.
• Roadmap development for 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Design system architecture and roadmaps for scalable software.
• Apply architecture best practices and standards in design and build.
• Create reusable, scalable frameworks and components.
• Provide effort and cost assessments for initiatives.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure enterprise-ready solutions.
• Advise management on risk and ROI for technology decisions.
• Lead projects from concept to implementation with product management.
• Serve as primary technical design architect for multiple teams.
• Drive improvements in performance, security, automation, and reliability.
• Maintain current and future-state architecture models with up-to-date documentation.
• Stay current with industry trends and prototype new ideas.
