Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with emphasis in a discipline related to assignments (e.g., mechanical, civil, electrical).
• 5 years of job-related experience.
• Masters degree or equivalent experience is desirable; PE license is preferred.
• Strong expertise in modeling, statistics and machine learning approaches.

Responsibilities

• Risk modeling.
• Coaches peers and reviews test designs for feasibility and objectives.
• Ensures customer expectations and project deliverables meet requirements.
• Leads complex tests with higher-level peers.
• Defines scope, schedule, and resources for projects.
• Oversees assembly of technical systems and prototypes per engineering standards.
• Develops test protocols, analyzes data and reports results.
• Presents test results and recommendations to clients/leadership.
• Represents PG&E at industry meetings when appropriate.
