Progressive Insurance is seeking a Category Manager for Corporate Procurement to oversee large spend categories and lead strategic sourcing for the operations category.

You will create and manage service-level agreements and supplier performance, coordinate the acquisition of goods and services for major business areas, negotiate contracts, and implement procurement strategies to drive cost savings and optimize spending. This is a hybrid role with in-office 1 day per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in contract administration and vendor relationships.
• Bachelor's degree or higher and at least two years in contract administration and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large spend categories and lead strategic sourcing for operations.
• Create and manage SLAs and monitor supplier performance.
• Coordinate procurement of goods and services for major business areas and negotiate contracts.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive cost savings and optimize spend.
