Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field; 12+ years experience, or Master’s with 8+; or PhD with 6+.
• 10+ years building field telemetry and data collection systems at scale.
• Deep knowledge of Intel client platform architecture and OS internals (Windows, Linux).
• Software architecture skills for high-volume ingestion, storage, analytics pipelines.
• Experience with data lake and analytics stacks (Snowflake, Databricks, cloud services).
• Applied analytics or ML for failure classification and predictive quality trending.
• Experience delivering telemetry-based validation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for the end-to-end telemetry platform across data collection to insights.
• Drive the crash analytics and reliability modeling stack to accelerate root-cause analysis.
• Scale ingestion and analysis across millions of endpoints and data points.
• Partner with product architecture, validation, quality, and customer teams to turn telemetry into business actions.
• Set engineering standards, mentor teams, and define metrics and predictive models.
• Lead in-field and app telemetry solutions that are scalable and secure.
• Formulate technical strategies aligned with organizational goals for cutting-edge products.
