Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water/wastewater projects within the Industrial Business unit. The role emphasizes planning and design oversight for water, water reuse, and wastewater initiatives, with opportunities to support business development across the U.S.

This hybrid position requires at least two days in the office and can be based at any Industrial office in the United States. Travel may be up to 10% or less depending on duty schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Managing and serving as the lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff.
• Responsible for scope, schedule, budget development and adherence.
• QA/QC of key deliverables and assisting on projects.
• Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing across the U.S.
• Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry.
• Building relationships with key client decision makers.
