Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to support a company focused on modernizing enterprise infrastructure and strengthening identity, authentication, and certificate-based security. This hybrid role is based in Ft.

Washington, PA or Allentown, PA. The Senior Platform Engineer will lead the engineering, automation, and operational reliability of core Active Directory and certificate services, developing PowerShell automation and enforcing security best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise Windows/Active Directory environments.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, PKI/certificates, PowerShell scripting, and identity/authentication services.

Responsibilities

• Administering, maintaining, and enhancing Windows Active Directory domains, Group Policy, OU structure, and domain services.
• Managing PKI infrastructure, digital certificates, CRLs, OCSP, and certificate lifecycle processes.
• Developing and optimizing PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to reduce manual tasks and improve reliability.
• Implementing security best practices, supporting audit/compliance needs, and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting issues related to authentication, certificates, replication, domain controllers, and GPOs.
