Job summary

Real Chemistry is seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee projects within a vertical account team, ensuring quality and continuity while guiding major initiatives from client through to project managers and cross-functional teams.

The role partners with the Account Director to support brand partners with tactical planning and aligns with the account’s strategic direction. It is a hybrid role, based in multiple US cities or remote within the US.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent required.
• 3-4 years of team leadership experience required.
• 3-4 years of client/customer management experience required.
• 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales/marketing preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in strategic planning preferred.
• Leadership experience in a corporate, marketing, or life sciences environment preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects within a vertical account team for quality and continuity.
• Lead high-profile projects from client through to project manager and cross-functional team.
• Partner with Account Director on development and management of tactical plans.
• Provide invoicing information and budget status updates to clients.
• Drive strategic partnerships with clients by understanding their products and objectives.
• Lead strategic brainstorming sessions and annual strategic planning.
• Develop and manage project briefs and client scope statements.
• Monitor project scope and communicate scope changes as needed.
• Provide final approval on all deliverables to ensure strategic objectives are met.
• Monitor risks and issues with the project manager and communicate with the client.
