Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead our geotechnical discipline in North Carolina. The role emphasizes leadership, client development, and expert geotechnical design across transportation, land development, renewables, and infrastructure projects.

The candidate will operate in a hybrid office model with bases in Charlotte, Greensboro, or Raleigh, NC, collaborating with a high-performing team to deliver technically diverse projects and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 15 or more years of related experience, including in North Carolina.
• Proven experience in leading diverse project teams.
• Ability to target and generate new opportunities.
• Overseeing pursuits, designate resources, define client needs, address client concerns and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a diverse project team on geotechnical projects.
• Oversee pursuits and allocate resources to projects.
