The role partners with operations and development teams to drive accurate projections and strategic insights. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in business/finance/economics, 5+ years in finance, and 2+ years in analytics within the generation sector; strong data skills and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or other related analytical discipline.
• 5+ years finance work experience in a dynamic and analytical environment.
• 2+ years experience in analytics or finance within the generation business (fossil, mining, solar, battery, wind).
• Strong ability to analyze large data sets, summarize and communicate/present effectively.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the financial projection, analysis, long-range planning and ad hoc financial and operational reporting for support organizations.
• Leads development/utilization of planning tools and processes for capital, O&M cost tracking and reporting.
• Works with operations/development teams to understand variances and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Summarizes financial results and supports ad-hoc/strategic analysis including quarterly reviews.
• Pay invoices not managed by Accounts Payable.
