Job summary

Addison Group has partnered with a publicly traded Oil & Gas organization in Houston, TX to fill the Financial Reporting Manager role. This position focuses on preparation, review, analysis and filing of internal and external reports with strong SEC reporting and technical accounting experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting is required.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and SEC reporting standards.
• 2+ years experience in public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings.
• Review financial statements, related schedules, and variance analysis for the monthly financial reporting package.
• Draft and review memos on technical accounting matters.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls.
