Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Prior Big 4 public accounting experience required.
• Strong SEC reporting experience within a public company environment required.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and technical accounting matters.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and disclosures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of internal and external financial reporting (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, earnings schedules).
• Ensure statements comply with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and policies.
• Oversee technical accounting research and new standards implementation.
• Lead assessments for acquisitions, financings, revenue recognition, and stock-based compensation.
• Prepare technical memorandums and accounting position papers for GAAP/SEC compliance.
• Research complex accounting matters and support accounting conclusions.
• Evaluate accounting impact of significant transactions.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and controls.
• Manage quarterly and annual external audit process with auditors.
• Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Tax, IR, and operations.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes and internal controls.
• Support SOX compliance and executive/Board reporting materials.
• Monitor emerging accounting developments and mentor team.
