Job summary

FTI Consulting seeks a Senior Consultant for Financial Reporting & Accounting within the IA&R Real Estate Solutions practice in New York. You will deliver outsourced accounting for REITs and real estate entities, prepare journals and updates to ledgers, and support financial statements under US GAAP and tax basis.

The role is full-time and hybrid, with potential travel to clients and FTI offices. Strong Excel/Word skills and CPA pathway are preferred, with experience in real estate a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting is required or expected.
• Understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; familiarity with Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform month and quarter end close including workbook and variance analysis.
• Review books and records; prepare reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and management reports (including Form 10-K/10-Q).
• Assist in Partner Capital Statements and notices; work with third-party providers.
