Biogen is seeking a Manager, Data Management in the US Decision Sciences group. This role is a hands-on, individual contributor focused on delivering analytics-ready commercial data for reporting and field execution.

Hybrid work with on-site presence at Cambridge, MA or RTP, NC depending on location. You will manage data sources, validate data, and partner with IT and analytics teams to ensure timely, accurate data delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3+ years in data management or analytics enablement in biotech/pharma, healthcare, or consulting.
• Experience supporting commercial data sources (CRM, claims, prescriptions, market data).
• Hands-on data pipelines from ingestion to analytics-ready delivery.
• SQL and modern data platforms experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute data management deliverables aligned to analytics priorities.
• Support ingestion, transformation, and refresh of commercial data sources.
• Own discrete data sources or pipeline components.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Implement data mappings and transformation logic per directives.
• Address data requests and clarify data issues as needed.
• Coordinate with IT and platform teams to run pipelines and troubleshoot.
• Support external data vendor loads and refresh cycles.
• Maintain data definitions and documentation for sources.
• Identify data issues, elevate risks, and support resolution.
• Apply data management standards and controls consistently.
